How do I get a quote? (and other quote questions)

Receiving your quote is often the first, exciting step in your ordering journey after your initial enquiry. It’s a great way to see what works best for your brand, plus how we can help make your campaign a success.

Understanding your quote will give you the opportunity to ask relevant questions before going to order, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible. We’re happy to help and look forward to discussing your upcoming campaigns with you soon!

Why do I need a quote?

It’s always best to request a quote rather than basing your budget on the website prices. This is so that we can tailor your quote to your exact requirements and artwork.

The prices on the website are a representation of that particular item, usually based on a logo that is 1 colour to 1 position. If you’d like other decorations, or your artwork is more than 1 colour, this price is subject to change.

The website prices are to be used as a guide only due to the bespoke nature of promotional merchandise.

Quote Terminology

Please see below some definitions of commonly used terms related to quoting. Please don’t hesitate to check with your sales team member for further clarification.

  • Lead-time: The lead-time is how long it’ll take your products to be branded from artwork approval. You can read more about lead-times here.
  • Set-up charge: This is the price of setting-up your products on the machine for branding.
  • Origination: This is the price of branding your products. You can read more about origination here.
  • Unit cost: This is the price of your individual product, plain stock, without branding.
  • Delivery: This is the price of delivering your order to your chosen location.

What we need to know from you

Initial Enquiry

Having the most information possible right at the beginning of your order journey helps to give you the best quote possible. It’ll mean you’ll receive a more accurate quote in terms of pricing, plus we want to suggest the best products for your brand!

In order for us to provide you with the best quote, it would be great if you could let us know the following information as soon as possible:

  • Delivery deadline
  • Event date
  • Event Synopsis
  • Budget (overall / per person)
  • Quantity
  • Delivery address (UK/EU or rest of world)
  • Artwork file (a pdf / editable EPS preferred)
  • Brand guidelines

Don’t worry if you don’t have all the above information to hand straight away. Our team are here to help you determine what’s best for your campaign, so even if you just want some advice, don’t hesitate to get in contact.

Quote Timeline

When will I receive my quote?

Depending on when you request your quote, we aim to get in touch with you within 24 hours to chat through your enquiry. We then aim to get back to you with a quote within 24/48 hours.

If you request a quote Friday afternoon however, there may be a delay getting back to you as we are shut over the weekend.

There will also be a delay during the UK bank holidays and Christmas break. That being said, as soon as our team are back in the office, they’ll be straight to work in helping you find the best products for your campaign.

Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm and we endeavour to send all quotes during this period.

How long is my quote valid for?

Your quote will be valid for up to 30 days, depending on the products requested. Your sales team member will let you know when your quote will expire.

Quote Amendments

Will my quote change once I proceed to order?

Sometimes, once quotes proceed to order, there may be extra unforeseen charges and changes that unfortunately cannot be predicted at the quote stage. If this occurs, we will let you know straight away and give you all the information possible so that you can make an informed decision on how to proceed.

Can I change my quote?

Of course! We’ll do as many revisions as necessary so that you’re 100% happy when proceeding with your final order.

Is my quote an order?

No. Your quote is an enquiry. In order to proceed to order, you’ll need to let your sales team member know you’re happy to proceed with the quote. We can then start working on processing your order for you.
