Founded in 2006 by CEO Matt Franks and MD Miles Lovegrove, Fluid has grown from a small Cornish startup into a global business.

Today, Fluid Branding is one of the largest promotional merchandise distributors, with offices across the UK and Europe, and has ambitious growth and acquisition plans, both domestic and international. The UK-based company is also proud to be a B Corp, using business as a force for good, thinking beyond profit to make a positive difference to people and the planet, leading the way in their commitment to becoming carbon net-zero by 2030.

But, let’s rewind to 2006 when Fluid was born. Justin Timberlake was “Bringing Sexy Back” and Shakira was telling us that “Hips Don’t Lie”, Steve Jobs was busy releasing the iMac, Twitter was just being launched and a Jackson Pollock painting became the most expensive painting ever privately sold for a whopping $140 million! It was also the year that brought us Google Calendar and fashion trends dictated black nail polish and skinny jeans.

Meanwhile, Matt and Miles launched Fluid Branding and its sister brand Eco Incentives, with a purpose to rethink how the merchandise industry had always worked, focusing on innovation and expertise to deliver better products and services in a more efficient and sustainable way. The team started small and has now grown to where they are today from their base in Cornwall (where HQ is still situated!).

The Fluid family is now over 100 strong and has offices spanning the UK and Europe, alongside global networks. Standing still is not an option and they continue to grow by winning new clients and continually investing in their exceptional team and infrastructure, ensuring that they’re always “More than just Merchandise”.

Miles Lovegrove comments,

“It has been a fantastic journey over the last 15 years, and we have achieved so many exciting milestones, mainly due to our fantastic team! Their genius drives us every day to be better and challenge new ideas. The next 15 years are about developing a sustainable business that shows our success through our impact on our industry, our community, our customers, and our environment. A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us!”

Matt Franks adds,

“It’s been amazing to see Fluid grow into the global business that it is today. I’m super excited to see where the next 15 years will take us! Thank you to everyone who’s helped us on our journey so far, most of all our incredible team. We wouldn’t be where we are without you”.
