It was a great opportunity to launch our recently refreshed brand, and make the official announcement that we're now a certified B Corporation.
Becoming a B Corp means that we're now part of a global community using business as a force for good. It's taken hard work and commitment to get certified – but it is well worth it. Unlike other, more traditional corporations, certified B Corporations are legally required to consider the impact of their business practices and decisions – not only on shareholders but of stakeholders too, like workers, suppliers, consumers, the wider community and the environment.
Our MD Miles Lovegrove had this to say,
"We are very proud to announce that we have achieved B Corp certification. Achieving it is an acknowledgement of the ethos that runs through our business and is embedded in our DNA; to be exceptional for the business, the wider community and ourselves."
The London Merchandise Show itself was very busy – we were showcasing lots of sustainable product options to our visitors, which went down a treat. Jon Birrell, CEO of the British Promotional Merchandise Association, commented,
"a huge thank you to Fluid Branding for inviting us to the London Merchandise Show 2019! Great to see a BPMA charter member put on such a great show with so many engaged brands and such a vast range of fantastic products!"
Our Business Development Director, Alexis Stone says,
"It was great to see so many great clients and potential clients at the show – and we're now busy setting up quotations and dealing with enquiries. The show has been a fantastic platform for our refreshed brand and considered product options, it's a wonderful collaboration of our departments, together with our amazing suppliers, who enable us to provide our clients with the highest level of service. We've now got lots of new exciting opportunities to further explore."
Our CEO Matt Franks also adds,
"Today was a real milestone in the Fluid Branding journey - we're disrupting our industry with higher aspirations than simply supplying merchandise. That was our message today. We're all very proud of our refreshed brand and our B Corp certification and would like to thank everyone who attended our 3rd London Merchandise Show."
Now, we're busy preparing for our next event – the East of England Merchandise Show. It'll be held on 24th September at Newmarket Racecourse. Can't wait to see you there!
