Who are Circular & Co.

We’re massive fans of Circular & Co..

Based in Cornwall, they’re just down the road from our UK Headquarters. We’ve had tours of their factories and seen how everything’s made, and, spoiler: it’s fascinating!

Circular & Co. was founded in 2003 by Dan Dicker, who could see that our throwaway culture was/is damaging the planet.

Since then, he’s been working with a network of industry experts to develop real circular solutions with Circular & Co..

Made from waste

You can now choose for your branded reusable coffee cup to be made from either:

1. Recycled fabric

Fast fashion is easy to buy but hard to get rid of. From 150 truckloads of unwanted clothes collected every day in the UK, Circular & Co. can now take what’s not reusable and transform it into injection-moulded fibre pellets to help make this cup’s outer layer.

2. Recycled trainers

Let’s take a step in the right direction. Some of the greatest achievements in human history started with a single step: let this cup (made from 50% recycled old trainers) be your first step towards more sustainable choices.

3. Traceable marine plastics

The marine pollution caused by lost or abandoned fishing nets and debris that’s gone into this cup is 100% traceable, so you can see from precisely which bit of coastline, beach or harbour it was collected from.

4. Recycled coffee grounds

The perfect cup for an early Monday morning brew. The outer layer is made using recycled coffee grounds, which seems about as poetic and properly circular as a cup can get.

6. Recycled stainless steel

Recycled stainless steel loses none of its qualities when recycled; that’s why this cup is one of our top performers: keeping hot drinks hot for up to six hours and cold ones for twelve.

The outer layer is made using single-use paper cups, which, with our partners, we collect, shred and combine with recycled plastic. Prepare to look smug in the coffee shop queue.

Not at all. Every option still comes with that patented, 100% leakproof, one-handed swift-click™ lid — the material changes, the quality doesn't.

3. Are marine plastic cups really traceable?

Yes — Circular & Co. can tell you exactly which beach, harbour, or stretch of coastline the plastic in your cup was collected from.

4. What if I want the best possible heat retention?

Go for the recycled stainless steel option — it holds hot drinks for up to six hours and cold ones for twelve.
