This is a snapshot of the products we can brand that are made from recycled, organic, or certified materials. They do less harm to the environment than their virgin counterparts, without lowering the quality of the finished product.

What happened on the 1st of October 2023? 

On the 1st of October 2023, a single-use plastic ban was put in place. This means that businesses must no longer supply, sell or offer certain single-use plastic items. 

According to research, England alone uses 2.7 billion items of single-use cutlery, most of which are plastic, plus 721 million single-use plates per year. Shockingly, only 10% are recycled. 

This ban is to ensure we limit and reduce our plastic pollution before it’s too late. And one way we can help reduce our plastic waste is by opting for alternative more sustainable promotional products for our marketing campaigns, such as from our range below.

Recycled polypropylene 

Recycled polypropylene is recycled plastic widely used for food containers and reusable coffee cups. 

Once polypropylene is discarded, it’s broken down and shredded to produce recycled polypropylene, which can then be reused to make new products. This saves about 50% of CO2 emissions compared to conventional polypropylene and it also reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and our oceans.

Recycled cotton

Organic cotton is so much better for the environment than traditional cotton because it doesn’t use pesticides and fertilisers, so the soil is still good even after growing the crop.

Recycled aluminium 

Aluminium is a super versatile material that’s capable of being recycled indefinitely. Often used on things like cans, foil and car parts, it’s great because it’s lightweight, strong and doesn’t rust. 

Its properties also make it great for recycling. When made originally, it's made from a rock called bauxite which requires a lot of energy. But, by using recycled aluminium, we’re reducing the need for this energy-intensive process.
