Who are Secrid?
Secrid are a 100% family-owned Dutch wallet maker like no other.
Formed in 1995 (or 1979 if you count when its founders Marianne van Sasse van Ysselt (14) and René van Geer (17) started dating), they believe that a better world starts in your pocket. Simple.

Secrid can proudly say they’ve been a CO2-compensated company since 2009 and a CO2-neutral one since 2022. Their motto: “We are committed to making a shift from the Industrial Revolution to the Industrial Evolution”. 
3. A conscientious supply chain
Secrid aims to work with suppliers closest to their assembly locations, meaning most of the parts for their wallets are produced in the Netherlands or Italy. They aim to keep transport distances to a minimum, putting the environment first. This means they can help support local businesses, too.
4. They partner with charities
Secrid supports designers who are committed to positive change in the industry and those who are contributing to societal challenges. And that’s why they recently collaborated with Sheltersuit to create their People Helping People collection, a charity that manufactures multifunctional products that provide shelter to those experiencing homelessness - because everyone deserves warmth, protection and dignity.
