Your orders are restoring forests!

This has to be one of our favourite things every time you place an order.

Because we’re not kidding: every time you go ahead with your fabulous merchandise, we’ll plant a tree for you.

Amazing, right?

Our purpose is to create a culture of change that pushes us to do things better every day; to make a lasting positive impression of your brand on your customers.

We’re consistently thinking about how our actions will impact the future. Your products won’t just be around for a moment, and we genuinely care about their long-term footprint.

And what’s a more positive, long-term outcome than whole forests being restored to their former glory? Trees that grow up to do some proper good climate fighting action.

It’s about making a difference in a BIG way - a green, rainforest-y sort of way.

#ATreeWithEveryOrder

We get giddy with excitement just thinking about all your beloved trees.

So far this year, you’ve helped plant an astonishing, no, monumental amount of trees.

Are you ready?

73,278 trees
(so far, at the time of writing this).

And that’s all thanks to you.

Across several different projects over the entire globe, your orders are restoring forests.

We plant #ATreeWithEveryOrder to help reduce our impact on the planet. Alongside being a Certified B Corp, we aim to be Carbon Net-Zero by 2030. By partnering with Ecologi, we’re well on our way to making this a reality.

And the Fluid Forest is a virtual representation of all your hard work! It shows the tree planted for your order, plus all the trees for every single order our amazing clients have placed with us since August 2021. It’s a real eye-opener to see how much we can achieve, together.

And the more trees we plant, the more carbon pollution that’s eventually removed from the atmosphere and eco-projects that are funded.

It’s never too late to start making a difference.

What do I need to do to plant a tree?

Planting a tree with us is simple! All you need to do is:

1. Select the products you want to order
2. Place your order with us and wait until your order has been delivered and invoiced
3. We’ll plant a tree for you!

That’s it! No shovel or spade is needed. It’s as easy as 1, 2, tree!

Some of the forests you’ve helped restore

We love sharing more in-depth information on the projects your orders have actively helped, such as Kenya’s last tropical rainforest and the super-important mangroves

And here are three of the newest projects we’ve started working on, each surrounding the magnificent Andes Mountain Range.

1. Restoring Andean Forests in Argentina
Argentina is a country that derives significant revenue from large-scale agriculture (they’re one of the world’s largest exporters of beef!)- meaning its forests and overall natural environments are struggling to keep up with human demands.

An area of particular concern is the Andes Mountain Range which is home to Polylepis forests. So much wildlife lives in these forests, such as Andrean Condors, Spectacled Bears, and Pumas. And as global warming progresses, more and more cooler temperature-loving species are thought to call this place home than ever before.

Through Ecologi, we’ve partnered with Global Forest Generation (GFG) to help try and restore these amazing environments. This means you’re directly helping plant more species of Polylepis, as well as other native species.

2. Protecting and restoring Andean Forests in Bolivia
Bolivia is the 12th most biodiverse country in the world, with roughly half of the country covered in rainforests (54.2%). However, since the 1990s, Bolivia’s immense forests have steadily declined, with only 16% of the forests devoted to sustainable use. Again, the reasons for this are multi-faceted, but agriculture, demand for timber and poor cultivation methods are a few of the reasons why.

The Andes Mountains cut through the western part of Bolivia, which, like in Argentina, is home to Polylepis forests.

This project is tied closely to the one above in Argentina, where Ecologi is funding the planting of 300,000 trees in the Andes Mountains over the next two years - and because of your orders, you’re a BIG part of it!

3. Restoring Polylepis Forests in the Ecuadorian Andes
Ecuador is home to an abundance of amazing ecosystems - 20,000 species of plants and over 2,600 species of animals. Insane, right?

Another cool fact, Pacha Mama, or Mother Earth, is granted the right to protection from the endangerment of native species, restriction of invasive species as well as restoring damaged land. Ecuador is one of the few countries in the world that actually does this.

And by helping to support this project, you’re also helping to protect and nurture Mother Earth.

It’s time for a reforest revolution!

And that’s just the beginning of what we plan to do to help restore our amazing forests across the planet. Keep your eyes peeled for more insights throughout the year!
